FlickPickd LLC ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not have access to your raw password at any time.

When you use the app, we store information you provide including your team name, team color, film picks, watchlist entries, trade proposals, and league activity. This data is necessary for the app to function.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or payment information at this time. If Pro league payments are introduced, payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider (Stripe) and we will never store your card details.

We use your data solely to operate FlickPickd - to run leagues, calculate scores, track picks, and display standings to other members of your league. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties under any circumstances.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with row-level security enabled on all tables. This means your data is only accessible to you and other members of leagues you belong to. No other users can access your information.

FlickPickd uses the following third-party services to operate:

TMDB (The Movie Database) - used to fetch film data, box office figures, and release dates. Your personal data is not shared with TMDB.

OMDb API - used to fetch Rotten Tomatoes scores. Your personal data is not shared with OMDb.

Vercel - used to host and serve the application. Standard server logs may be generated as part of normal hosting operations.

Resend - used to send transactional emails such as draft reminders and standings updates. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering these emails.

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, email us at contact@flickpickd.com with the subject "Delete My Account" and we will process your request within 7 days.

If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or port your data. Contact us at the email above for any such requests.

If you are located in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

FlickPickd is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by posting a notice on the app. Continued use of FlickPickd after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
